- While care is taken in processing your order, under no circumstances will the publisher be liable for any loss to you from any error or omission to publish.
- It is the responsibility of the advertiser to check the correctness of the content of his advertisement before it is published or republished. Errors made by the publisher must be brought to its notice on the day of the publication (or the next working day); otherwise, complaints shall not be entertained.
- The advertiser and/ or his advertising agency shall indemnify and keep the publisher fully indemnified against all claims, demands, actions and proceedings which may be made against the publisher and all damage, liability, loss, cost and expense (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) which the publisher may incur, sustain or suffer, directly or indirectly, resulting from or on connection with any advertisement instructed by the advertiser or his agency and/ or the enforcement or protection of the publisher’s rights and remedies against the advertiser and/ or his advertising agency.
- SPH reserves the unqualified right to decline, suspend, change, position/ reposition or re-schedule any advertisement notwithstanding earlier acceptance by our representative or if pre-payment for the advertisement has been made.
- SPH reserves the absolute right and discretion to ask for prepayment and/or collateral from any advertiser and/or to set credit limits under each advertising account. Full particulars including NRIC is required for credit terms. Prepayment is required for certain classifications.
- Save for clause 3, the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 does not apply to the contract entered into between the advertiser and the Company.
- The minimum point size for English publications is 6 points. The minimum point size of reverse text for black/white copies in English publications is 10 points.
- SPH reserves the right to re-use any photograph provided by the advertiser/agency to SPH for an obituary/memorium ad for the purpose of a subsequent condolence ad without limitation and reference to the advertiser/agency.
- All rates are subject to GST, and are subject to change.
